I have always enjoyed being active, whether I was dancing, running, practicing yoga, or playing volleyball. This is all my advice on exercise and maintaining a positive body image.
Sugar Rush 5k
Less than two months after having Scarlett, I participated in my first 5k since I was 6 months pregnant. I found the race the night before and decided to sign up last minute. It was the Sugar Rush hosted by my university and its goal was to raise funds for diabetes research. My sister has had Type I diabetes since she was eight years old so I figured this was something I should do.

We’ve all been there: wishing that we looked like a celebrity in a magazine or that girl we saw at the gym. We all get that icky, guilty feeling when we’re shopping for new clothes and it seems like there is nothing in the entire mall that fits! It’s frustrating and it’s an emotion that leaves you feeling empty. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
